Michelle Allen & Friends
There is nothing better than spending a Sunday afternoon playing music with friends on the patio, or taking the show on the road and pleasing audiences at a coffee shop or brewery. I usually sing and play my golden era Martin 000-28 guitar but I occasionally bring out my banjo for a little clawhammer. Eitan Kantor has a strong heartfelt lovely voice and is a wizard on the fiddle. Eric Johnson has been playing electric bass in the Boulder/Denver area for years and adds the baritone. Jason Allen plays the Bolivian charango with a decidedly Americana flavor.
Tupelo Honey
Tupelo Honey; Live from the Hive.
Our dear friend and musical partner Nancy Thorwardson, passed away April 2017. Nancy put the swing into this and many other fantastic bands. Tupelo Honey was Nancy Thorwardson, Michelle Allen, Paul Kiteck and Jay Allen. The "Tupes" were sure to please with a swingy, bluesy, folky mix of Americana music featuring great harmonies and rich tones. Whereever you are Nancy we know there is beautiful music.

Slick Allen Trio
Deeply influenced by Blues, Bluegrass, Folk, Alt-country, Acoustic Rock and Old Time roots music, Michelle Allen’s original tunes continue a remarkable creative evolution establishing Allen as a musical icon in the front range area. Since 1985 Kevin Slick has been recording and performing an amazing array of music. Combined with a solid bass line from Jay Allen, Michelle and Kevin's considerable vocal and songwriting talents deliver unique, compelling and highly enjoyable music ranging from contemplative ballads to upbeat bluegrass.
